Vladimir Shishov e' nato il 23/11/1981 a San Pietroburgo, Russia.
Giovanissimo entra all'Accademia Vaganova dal 1992 al 2000 dove si distingue
subito per la facilità tecnica e le doti espressive.
Diplomatosi con il massimo dei voti, inizia subito la sua carriera al Teatro Mariinsky
di San Pietroburgo dal 2000 al 2006 dove interpreta i maggiori ruoli del repertorio
classico e contemporaneo quali:
-Don Chisciotte (Basilio)
-Corsaire (Lankedem, Konrad)
-Raymonda (Jean de Brienne)
-Manon (Des Grieux)
-Legend about Love ( Ferkhad )
-Lago dei cigni (Rotbart)
-Leningrad's simphony
-La Valse
-John Neumeier: "Spring and fall", "Now and then"
-William Forsythe: "Step text", " In the middle some what elevated"
Nel Dicembre 2006 e' stato ospite al Teatro di Cracovia per il concerto di
capodanno danzando il pas de deux dello Schiaccianoci con Aliya Tanikpaeva.
E' ospite nei maggiori gala' di danza internazionali e dal 2006 e' Primo Ballerino
presso lo Staatsoper e Wolksoper di Vienna, Austria.

In 2008 he will be protagonist of the Concert of New Year's eve in Vienna
transmitted in eurodiffusione.
