Mick Zeni nasce a Verona dove inizia a sette anni gli studi di danza. Nel 1990 è ammesso alla Scuola di Ballo del Teatro alla Scala e si diploma nel 1994, anno in cui entra nel Corpo di Ballo scaligero. Interpreta “Paquita” (Marius Petipa), “Excelsior” (Ugo Dell’Ara), “Il Grande Gatsby” (André Prokovsky), “Il pipistrello” (Roland Petit), “L’histoire de Manon” (Kenneth MacMillan), “Onegin” (John Cranko). Nel 2001 è Albrecht nella “Giselle” di Sylvie Guillem a New York e Londra e l’Oscurantismo in “Excelsior” all’Opéra National de Paris. Nell’ottobre 2003, al termine della recita di “Don Chisciotte” (Rudolf Nureyev), in cui è protagonista, ottiene la nomina a Primo ballerino. Nello stesso anno è artista ospite al Teatro di San Carlo di Napoli e al Teatro Comunale di Firenze in “Romeo e Giulietta” e “Lo schiaccianoci”. Nel suo repertorio: “Études” (Harald Lander), “Il lago dei cigni” (Nureyev e Vladimir Bourmeister), “Le sacre du printemps” (Béjart), “La Strada” (Mario Pistoni), “Notre Dame de Paris”, “Le Jeune homme et la Mort” e “L’Arlésienne” di Petit di cui danza anche il “passo a due” da “Proust, ou les intermittences du coeur” con Massimo Murru, poi con Benjamin Pech, e Hervé Moreau, due étoiles dell’Opéra di Parigi. Nel 2009 è Franz in “Coppélia”, nuova creazione di Derek Deane per il Balletto scaligero; in “Trittico Novecento” danza “Bella Figura” di Jiˇrí Kylián e “Voluntaries” di Glen Tetley; è inoltre in “Pink Floyd Ballet” di Petit alla Scala e nelle successive tournée. Sempre nel 2009 si esibisce nel “Roberto Bolle and Friends”. È ancora Albrecht in “Giselle” (Yvette Chauviré) e inoltre, il Principe in “Lo Schiaccianoci” (Nureyev e Evgenij Polyakov), Oberon e il Cavaliere di Titania in “Sogno di una notte di mezza estate” (George Balanchine) nelle varie tournée scaligere. Al Teatro Massimo di Palermo, nel 2010, è Franz in “Coppélia” di Petit; balla, inoltre, con Eleonora Abbagnato “Per L’ultima volta” di Luciano Cannito. È ospite del Teatro NCPA a Pechino per la creazione del ruolo protagonista nel balletto “Marco Polo”. Nel 2011 ha il ruolo di Eros nella nuova coreografia “L’altro Casanova” di Gianluca Schiavoni e per “Jewels” di George Balanchine danza in una delle due coppia principali di “Emeralds”. Nell’ottobre dello stesso anno interpreta Abderahman e il solista della Polotàs in “Raymonda” (Petipa-Glazunov). Nel 2012 è il Padre in “Marguerite and Armand” di Frederick Ashton e Gremin in “Onegin” di John Cranko. È Padre Lorenzo in “Roméo et Juliette” di Sasha Waltz (titolo inaugurale della stagione 2012-13); in “Notre-Dame de Paris” (2013) riprende il ruolo di Frollo e in luglio nelle recite di apertura del “Lago dei cigni” di Nureyev debutta nel ruolo di Rothbart. Nel settembre 2013 suo è il ruolo di Romeo in “Romeo e Giulietta” (MacMillan) anche al Teatro Bol’šoj di Mosca e quello di Tebaldo in tournée a Tokyo. Nella ripresa dell’“Altra metà del cielo” interpreta il ruolo di Claudio. In “Serata Ratmansky” danza la creazione “Opera” (coppia principale) e “Russian Seasons” (coppia principale). Debutta, nel 2014, in “La rose malade” di Petit; l’anno successivo è tra gli interpreti principali di “Cello Suites” di Heinz Spoerli (che interpreta anche nel corso della tournée in Cina dell’agosto/settembre 2016). Nel corso del Gala per il 23° Festival Internazionale di Balletto di Lodz è in scena con “La rose malade” e un estratto da “Proust, ou les intermittences du coeur”. Per “La Bella addormentata nel bosco” curate da Alexei Ratmansky (Stagione 2014-15) debutta nel ruolo di Carabosse. È tra i protagonisti del “Gala des étoiles” del 30 e 31 ottobre, con “La rose malade” accanto a Maria Eichwald. È stato premiato dalla rivista “Danza&Danza” come miglior interprete maschile per la stagione 2013. Per la creazione di Massimiliano Volpini “Il giardino degli amanti” interpreta il ruolo del Conte d’Almaviva; per il “Lago dei cigni” curato da Alexei Ratmansky interpreta il ruolo di Rothbart e danza nella coppia ungherese, ruoli che riprende anche nel corso della tournée a Parigi presso il Palais des Congrès nel novembre 2016. Nel febbraio 2017 è in scena, al Teatro alla Scala, in “Serata Stravinskij” (in “Petruska” nel ruolo del Moro, coreografie di Michail Fokin)

Mick Zeni was born in Verona where begins the studies to the seven year-old age. In 1988 he wins the first Prize to the International contest in Modena and Chiavari in the 1989.
In 1990 he is admitted to the school of dance of the Theater to the Staircase where he graduates him in 1994, the same year enters in the same corps de ballet.

Guillem with Scala’s tour in Los Angeles, New York and London, Romeo in Juliet and Romeo (MacMillan) exhibiting himself with success to the theater Bolshoi in Moscow, The Prince in the Nutcracker (Nureyev and Poliakov), Oberon and The Rider of Titania in Midnight Summer Dream (Balanchine) with the tour to Baden-Baden, Venice, Bologna, Turkey, Athens, St. Paul, Rio de Janeiro and to the theater Marinsky of St. Pietroburgo for the evening d' inauguration of the season 2003/2004 and Hong Kong, Peking, Tianjin, Shanghai in the 2006, Johann in the Bat (R.Petit), the role of the Pharaon in d' inauguration to the season 2003/2004 of the Scala Theater (Moises et Pharaon), De Grieoux in Manon Lescaut (Mac Millan) and still Sigfrid in Swan Lake(Bourmeister), Onegin in Onegin (J.Cranko), Basilio in Don Chisciotte (Nureyev) with which it gets the nomination to Primo Ballerino in October 2003 at the end of the ballet, The Mad in La Strada (M.Pistons), Jeunne Homme in Jeunne homme et La morts (R.Petit), Frederi in Arlesienne (R.Petit).

In 2000 he is invited to the Galà "Stars of today and tomorrow" to the theater Filarmonico in Verona and to the international Festival of Vail in Colorado. In the 2001 S.Guillem wants him in the representations to New York and London to interpret Albrecht in “her" Giselle.
In 2002 interprets The obscurantism to the Opèra National de Paris with the company of the Sclala’s Theater .
